Canada that is becoming doesn’t have to become. You couldn't explain the things that are happening in Canada today to people 5 or 10 years ago. Much of it was boiling underground for years, and some of it was more recently imported. What’s clear is how we chose to handle things isn't sustainable and it’s appearing in all aspects of our society.
The country is vulnerable. For years majority of Canadian didn’t notice what has been happening. It is easy. Canada is a big country and too many had and still have the attitude of what happens in one area doesn’t concern them. What happens across the world had no significance as we have the protection of the US and the oceans around us. But things changed.
Complacency was recognized. The weak laws and incompetence have been identified. This meekness became a strength for others to take advantage of. Canada became a hotbed for extremists, terrorists, crime and money laundering and all of it is growing and flourishing. There is no fear of consequences and it’s almost at the point where it has its on life and becoming too big to fail.
The recent mass immigration policies have added more critical mass to what has been building. Maybe with ignorance maybe on purpose but it was pure carelessness and reckless. Now Canadians are seeing what has been brewing and building under their noses but just out of sight, openly in our streets.
For months we have had hate marches across Canada, intimidating businesses, intimidating Canadians. Schools and religious institutions where shot at or tried to be burned down. Terrorist headbands and flags are proudly waved. It’s actually shocking how many people in Canada own terrorist signage and memorabilia. However, not shocking enough for our system who do nothing about it except telling Canadians that they will not tolerate it as they tolerate it. Every vote counts.
Separatist movements like the Khalistanis have established a comfortable home in Canada to pick a fight with India right here on our turf. Canada essentially became a middle man they can hide behind. Crime, extortion gangs and things that Canada in general has no part in became an issue for us.
India is an ally and many of the Khalistanis who threaten them and their politicians happen to be Canadian. It puts us in one heck of a pickle. As it is now officially Canadians who are threatening our ally with violence but for reasons that Canada has nothing to do with. Any retaliation against them is technically a retaliation against a Canadian but but not for Canadian reasons. That’s just one example of how Canada is being taken advantage of.
Over 100 churches have been vandalized or burned down. Never has Canada seen such a systematic targeting of religious institutions. So much culture and history has been destroyed with them. There is no national response. No federal leadership and no-one is yelling Christophobia which they would have if it was any other group targeted.
TD Bank was at the center of a historic money laundering case in the US, sure it was the American side of the businesses but if you think similar isn't happening in the Canadian financial industry then you are not paying attention. Millions upon millions are easily laundered in our real estate every year. Millions in cash has been laundered just through British Columbia’s casinos just to some weak report to be written and hands thrown in the air like there is nothing we can do. It’s almost comical.
RCMP just seized Canada’s largest super drug lab in BC. A $500m drug lab operations with cartel similarities in it. Only one person arrested. Another drug lab in Alberta busted, only person arrested. Illicit drugs is a booming business in Canada. It’s not unusual to see an article on a Canadian trucker caught trafficking drugs. 1/3 of Canada’s trucking industry is now black market. The auto theft industry ballooned to over a $1B per year industry.
Money and goods have very little difficulty being moved around in, into or outside of Canada. Mayor of Delta has raised the alarm on the rampant crime at our local ports. Canada Border Services Agency checks less than 1% of container traffic. Ports Canada Police force was disbanded in 1997 and Port Authorities don’t think policing is their responsibility so it’s essentially been a free for all with minimal risk but all the reward.
The criminals that do get arrested get a slap on the wrist and sent back out. I’ve started a series on Twitter/X called “In today’s episode of Canada’s justice system is a joke” to highlight cases that are just so ridiculous they deserve no explanation. It’s so common to read of people on bail being arrested for the crimes they have committed a number of times before. Billions of dollars on this catch and release inefficiencies are spent every year. Many Canadians get harmed for no reason.
Most people would agree that what is happening in Canada is illogical. We giving space and normalization to things that will never make Canada better. We are a few steps away from anarchy and not enough people are realizing it.
The only way we can reverse our direction is to get rid of the neutered politicians and the spinless bureaucrats, as a first step. It’s time for us to be proud of our country, our way of life, and who we are. We should make no apologies for it to anyone.
Canada has so much to offer the world but we can’t do it from the position of weakness and being the shadow of our former self.
Time to get working, on us.
